The Tender Heart
Hand-painted story cards surface between the puzzles — small moments in a much bigger tale.
A word game that became a world.
It begins with two letters and a hunch. It grows into 50 themed kingdoms, hidden dungeons, collectible realms, and storylines that quietly unfold the deeper you climb. This is a tour of what’s waiting — without spoiling the best parts.

Where it starts
You know a word the instant you see how it starts and ends — so we take that certainty away. We hand you pairs of letters; your job is to stitch them back together.
It starts gently with four-letter words and scales, rung by rung, toward towering fifteen-letter giants. Easy to learn in a minute — and deep enough to keep pulling you back for months.

The journey
Epic Words isn’t a single screen you grind — it’s a journey across a map of themed worlds. Clear the puzzles in one kingdom and a new horizon opens: a different mood, a different backdrop, a different feel under your fingertips.

…and dozens more kingdoms we’ll leave for you to uncover.
Collections
Every kingdom you conquer becomes part of a growing set — a shelf of places you’ve been and trophies you’ve earned. And tucked inside the puzzles are themed word-sets to complete: castles and gemstones, sea and sky, magic and myth. Chasing the full collection is its own kind of fun.

Look up from the board now and then and you’ll notice the worlds are telling you something. Threads connect one kingdom to the next — a quiet story that gathers as you climb. We’re keeping the details under wraps on purpose; the fun is in feeling it come together, not in being handed a summary.

Every kingdom adds a chapter. Play on, and watch the threads tie together.
Dungeons
Not every path climbs toward the light. Tucked away in the world are deeper, tougher challenges — crystal caverns and shadowed corridors where the puzzles bite back and the rewards run richer.
They’re for players who want to be tested. What waits at the bottom is best left unspoiled — but it’s worth the descent.

A look inside
However you like your word games — a calm climb, a race, or a name at the top of the board — there’s a mode for it.
Pair the tiles, climb the ladder. A board you’ll never run out of — over 3,200 rounds and counting.
A competitive race against the clock — and against everyone else.
Reach the top tile and put your name on the board.
Hidden depth
Unlike games with one daily answer, Epic Words runs on infinite play. Each board spotlights six words to find — but English is generous. On any given board there are often more than a dozen valid words hiding in the same tiles.
Find the extras nobody asked you for and rack up bigger rewards. The best players turn every board into a treasure hunt.
Keep an eye out for sly references and nods tucked between the letter pairs. They’re there if you’re looking.
Whether you’ve got five minutes or two hours, it’s a deep dive into the architecture of language — and there’s always one more word waiting to be found.
And there’s more
Kingdoms, collections, storylines, dungeons — and a few things we haven’t mentioned at all. The rest is yours to discover, one ladder at a time.
