In Pairdle every tile is two letters, and each box in the answer row takes one tile. After a guess, a blue tile is the right pair in the right box, a red tile is in the word but in a different box, and a grey tile is not in the word at all.

Pairdle Standard: ECHOES
Twelve tiles, three boxes, solved in two guesses.

Monday's Pairdle board had twelve tiles and three boxes, so the answer had six letters. The board words were ECHOES, PROOFS, STAYED and LESION. The tiles could also spell ECHOED, HOSTED, PRAYED, STONED and STONES, which were not on the board. Those were the traps.
The first guess was the trap ECHOED. EC turned blue in the first box. HO turned blue in the second box. ED came back grey and left the board.

ED is the last pair of STAYED, so STAYED was out. PROOFS and LESION do not start with EC, so they were out too. Only ECHOES starts with EC and HO.

The second guess was ECHOES. EC and HO stayed in place, and ES turned blue in the third box. Two guesses.

Every word the Standard tiles could spell
The board is built from four words. Any other word the same tiles can spell is a trap: it looks right, but it was never on the board.
- ECHOED, trap word (not on the board)
- ECHOES, the answer
- HOSTED, trap word (not on the board)
- LESION, on the board
- PRAYED, trap word (not on the board)
- PROOFS, on the board
- STAYED, on the board
- STONED, trap word (not on the board)
- STONES, trap word (not on the board)

Pairdle Pro: DIAGRAMS
Sixteen tiles, four boxes, solved in two guesses.

Monday's Pairdle Pro board had sixteen tiles and four boxes, so the answer had eight letters. The board words were DIAGRAMS, TITANIUM, RECHARGE and THOROUGH. The tiles could not spell any other word, so there were no traps. No two board words shared a pair.
The first guess was not a word. AG went in the first box and RA in the second, both taken from DIAGRAMS. TH came from THOROUGH and went in the third box. UM came from TITANIUM and went in the last box.

AG and RA turned red. That means both are in the answer, but not in those boxes. TH and UM came back grey and left the board.

THOROUGH needs TH, so it was out. TITANIUM needs UM, so it was out too. RECHARGE has no AG, so it could not be the answer either. Only DIAGRAMS has AG and RA, and they sit in its second and third boxes.
The second guess was DIAGRAMS. DI, AG, RA and MS all turned blue. Two guesses.

Pairdle Expert: SKEPTICISM
Twenty tiles, five boxes, solved in two guesses.

Monday's Pairdle Expert board had twenty tiles and five boxes, so the answer had ten letters. The board words were SKEPTICISM, CYBERSPACE, ATTAINMENT and FOREGROUND. The tiles could not spell any other word, so there were no traps. No two board words shared a pair, so a wrong word could only rule out itself.
The first guess was CYBERSPACE. CY, BE, RS, PA and CE all came back grey and left the board. That left SKEPTICISM, ATTAINMENT and FOREGROUND, with nothing on the board to tell them apart.

The second guess was SKEPTICISM. SK, EP, TI, CI and SM all turned blue. Two guesses.
