From Bio-Research to Logic Loops

Logic Loft Games (LLG) was founded by Tim Nye, a serial entrepreneur whose journey to game development took an unconventional path through the sciences.

While completing a biology degree at the Harvard Extension School—including a research year at Oxford focused on longevity and drug discovery—Tim rediscovered a dormant passion for programming. What started with a Vic-20 in 1980 was reignited by Harvard's CS-50, where his final project, Pairagrams, laid the foundation for what Logic Loft is today.

Today, LLG sits at the intersection of cognitive challenge and digital play. We don't just build games; we build “brain gyms.” By leveraging modern AI and a deep love for pattern recognition, we've developed a pipeline of titles designed to test your vocabulary, logic, and problem-solving skills.

Following the successful launches of Pairdle and Epic Words in early 2026, we are currently developing Ballz, WordSlots, TopShelf, and WordFactory.
